I build software and I run the servers it lives on. Fifteen years across engineering, infrastructure and business growth, now working independently as a UK-based sole trader.
My legal name is Wacław Warszawa — yes, the surname is spelled exactly like Poland's capital, and no, I've never managed to say it in a meeting without someone smiling. In practice nobody calls me Wacław. I'm Wacek, and that's the name on every project I ship.
I spent over fifteen years where technology meets revenue: building brands, leading teams of developers and designers, and scaling online businesses. Somewhere along that road I became the person who writes the code and administers the infrastructure it runs on. It turned out to be a useful combination.
Today I work independently from the United Kingdom as a sole trader. I take on software development, Linux system administration and DevOps work — usually for clients who want one accountable person instead of three contractors pointing at each other.

I design, build and operate production systems for clients: web applications, APIs, email platforms, ad serving infrastructure and the servers underneath all of it. Full responsibility from first commit to the 3 a.m. monitoring alert.
Driving business growth
Over fifteen years of driving growth, building teams and scaling profitable online businesses. I kick-started brand development and managed developers and designers day to day, which is how a sales and marketing executive ends up reviewing pull requests and writing nginx configs. Working that close to the engineering side taught me what actually makes projects ship.
Capabilities, not buzzwords
Three services, one pair of hands. You can hire me for one of them — but most clients end up using all three.
Custom web applications, APIs and internal tools. PHP and Python backends, Go services where performance matters, React frontends that people actually enjoy using. Email campaign platforms, ad serving and bidding systems, billing flows, admin panels and dashboards.
I write code that is meant to be maintained — by me, or by your team after handover. Tests, migrations and documentation included, because "it works on my machine" is not a delivery.
Linux servers that stay up. nginx and Apache configuration, MySQL/MariaDB tuning, SSL certificates, firewall rules, backup strategies that get tested rather than assumed. I run my own production fleet and your servers get the same treatment.
Email is a specialisation of its own: mail server setup, SMTP relays, IP warm-up, SPF, DKIM and DMARC done properly, and the ongoing care that keeps messages out of spam folders.
From git push to production without drama. CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments with rollback plans, systemd services, Docker where it earns its keep, and Cloudflare DNS/CDN configured as code rather than clicked together at midnight.
Infrastructure as repeatable, versioned configuration. If a server dies, the replacement should be boring to rebuild — that is the whole point.
